SRD offers a series of workshops to assist faculty in proposal development. The Career workshops are offered annually each spring to assist junior faculty with their NSF CAREER proposals. Upcoming workshops are announced via faculty email, TRS ActiviTEES newsletter, and this website. Additional information about past workshops is provided below.

    The Center for Teaching Excellence (CTE), in collaboration with the Strategic Research Development (SRD) office, the Texas Engineering Experiment Station (TEES), and other academic units across campus, proposes an intense, weeklong program for newer engineering faculty that is intended to help them improve their skills in research, publication, and teaching in engineering.
